On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the beautiful premises of the Kostelec nad Černými lesy Castle hosted the grand opening of the Semíkov project – a unique educational and entertainment center for children that combines play, learning, and sustainability.
We are delighted to be standing by its side for the third year as a technology partner, providing modern hydroponic systems and helping children learn how plants grow without soil, with minimal water, and in complete cleanliness.
We believe that educating the new generation in the areas of ecology, science, and the relationship with nature is the key to a greener future. And Semíkov is a place where these ideas become everyday reality—playful, meaningful, and inspiring.
A day full of discovery and joy
Children and parents alike were able to try their hand at financial literacy training in the “farm shop,” make their own pesto from fresh basil grown hydroponically, or decorate their Herbabox and plant seedlings to care for.
The whole day was spent in a friendly, creative atmosphere – children discovered the world of nature, experimented, and learned through play. And that’s exactly what a typical day at the newly opened Semíkov will be like.
A place where the future is taught
The new premises will offer:
- children’s clubs that combine fun and education,
- workshops for schools and kindergartens,
- community events for families,
- team building for companies with a focus on ecology and cooperation.
Semíkov in Kostelec nad Černými lesy is an example of how modern technology, playful education, and environmental education can work together to create a better world for future generations.
